James: well, reading this blog should help! There is no way to hurry the learning process up too quickly. However, since you’ve done the tech job, you know what needs to be done. Put yourself in your worker’s place and ask yourself “what do they need from me”. You can’t go wrong as an IT Leader if you can find the answers to this question…

Hi I am new at the whole leader thing I am a decent tech but have recentlty gone into busiiness with acouple parteners. I have been named The QA and outside tech leader or manager. I need to learn how to become a manager in a hurry . My main issuse is trying to learn how to document everything so ther is a process . Is there any where i might be able to pick this stuff up? Like a website for learning this stuff in a hurry? I appreciate your article it has started me on the right track. Thank You
